I love making mosaic, but I'm not an artist

I am not an artist….. its true. I can’t draw or paint, but I can choose a pretty plate, cut out the pieces I want and stick them on a template. Sometimes, I am astounded at the outcome, and I am shocked and of course delighted that what I have accomplished could be classed at a piece of artwork. Other times the piece doesn’t quite turn out like I expected BUT the huge factor here is that however the final work turns out, I ALWAYS love doing it. Its relaxing, absorbing and I get lost in the whole process. I can lose hours and hours not thinking about anything else, and everyone I teach seems to feel the same.
